“Thinking about shopping for my wedding dress gave me the most stress of the whole wedding planning process. I’m very indecisive, but not overly emotional, so I was certain I would never have that “a-ha!” moment all brides describe. When I got ready to try on dresses, I told my group three things- I wanted a dramatic back, I wanted lace and NOT beading, and not to expect me to cry over a dress because it most certainly wasn’t going to happen. I tried on several beautiful lace gowns, all of which I liked, and I had even set one aside calling it the front runner, but none gave me any sort of feeling other than I was wearing a pretty dress. When my Eddy K dress was pulled I initially wasn’t sure about it because it had beading and no lace, but as soon as I put it on I could not stop smiling. I had a really good feeling about it, but wasn’t quite ready to commit since it was so different from what I expected. I tried on the last couple of lace gowns in my dressing room before putting the Eddy K dress back on a second time. The sales woman helping us added a belt that perfectly matched the beaded neckline, and the most gorgeous veil, and I immediately started crying! I actually felt like a bride! I couldn’t stop staring at the amazing smooth satin fabric, the beaded neckline that gave the perfect classy look I wanted for the ceremony, and the dramatic back I wanted for the reception.”- Allison
