When I tried on what would end up being my dress, I was actually already in love with something else! However, I felt so comfortable and classic and elegant in the Eddy K dress that I couldn’t pass it up. My grandfather is no longer able to travel, so knowing he would not be in Chicago for our wedding, I decided to do my shopping up in Minneapolis so that he could come with and see me in a wedding dress. He kept pretty quiet throughout the appointments, but when I tried on the Eddy K he got VERY chatty and insisted I try it on with a veil ;) It was the sweetest experience and I loved knowing my grandpa saw me in (and loved) the dress I ended up choosing.
