Jeff and Ivanna both lived at the Crown Point Apartment complex in Danbury, Connecticut. One day they were both at the mailboxes trying to figure out how to pick up a package, and that is where the discussion started. Jeff and Ivanna both were confused about how an apartment complex could close the packaging room at 5 o’clock! For any working individual you can understand how bewilder they both were. After they finished complaining they both parted ways for the night. The next morning Ivanna walked out of her apartment to notice a piece of paper on her car. The note was an invite for drinks… from Jeff! That night they grabbed drinks and realized they had so many things in common and it was history from there.
Ivanna took her search for a dress very seriously, she wanted something that would fit her personality and fashion sense but also something that wouldn’t wear her. She went to Julie Allen Bridals where the wedding consultant Jessica was able to understand everything she wanted. The MD175 was the last one Ivanna tried on after 15 dresses.
I loved the illusion back and unique detail this dress had to offer. It was light so I could dance the night away with all our friends and family.
They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Peter’s Church in Danbury, CT where they were able to merge the catholic and the jewish ceremonies together. The reception was held at the Candlewood Inn.
This venue has so much meaning to Jeff and I. We both have boats on this lake and spend every weekend in the summer enjoying it. For us  every time we are on the water we can drive by this venue and remember our spectacular night with friends and family.
For their honeymoon, they went to Maui and spent 10 wonderful days in house right by the water.
Tips from the Bride:
- Do not get stressed if something goes wrong because you are going to be the only one who will know.
- At some point in the night step, back with your husband and take a picture in your mind to remember that moment because the night flies by.
- Remember all the planning craziness will be worth it because at the end of the day, the doors will open and you will see the love of your life at the end of the aisle.
