“Right when I got engaged I knew that I wanted to go to The White Dress in Portland to look for the dress of my dreams, so I booked my appointment right away! When the day finally came, I kept in mind that this was going to be the very first shop that I visited so I wanted to make sure to be open minded and understand that it’s possible to not find THE one at the first shop… but oh man, did I get lucky! When I stepped into the shop I was greeted right away and taken to the bridal suite where I would be trying on dresses. The manager/ stylist who assisted me was amazing and listened closely to not only everything I wanted in my dream dress, but also what I did not want. Her and I went to look at their dress selection and as soon as she pulled the Tara dress from the rack I knew it was going to be something special and wanted to try it on right away. I was drawn to the details of the dress. The unique style lace, the sweetheart style top, beautiful buttons on the back, and, one of my favourite parts, the SPARKLE on the train. It was not too much, it was just PERFECT. I knew I loved it instantly, but I also had my mom, mother-in-law, and best friend waiting to see what I tried on. As soon as I stepped out of the dressing room they all went silent and started tearing up. That’s of course when I teared up and instantly knew this Eddy K Tara dress was the winner!” -Jessica
