“I purchased my wedding dress from Julie Allen Bridal in Newtown, CT. This small, quaint boutique was the place my mom got her dress 34 years ago, so it was only fitting that this was the store I would get my dress. Coincidentally, my best friend and matron of honor, Kathryn works there! She pulled out 3 dresses that I initially tried on and they all seemed a little too “trendy.” The 4th dress I tried on was the most perfect wedding dress I had ever seen. It was so simply sophisticated and elegant. The lace on the back was absolutely stunning and it fit perfectly. All of the buttons hadn’t even been fastened when I said “this is the one.” I am not usually the most emotional person, but as soon as I put my dress on I felt confident and beautiful. It was amazing to find that perfect dress with my family and friends all around me!”
