I had no idea what type of dress I wanted. I simply knew I wanted to feel pretty. My fiance, now husband, always jokes that my goal in life is to be a Disney princess, but I never really saw myself as a ballgown kind of girl. I tried on 3 dresses, and was already feeling like I wouldn’t find a dress that day…then just as I was about to give up, out of the corner of my eye I saw a big ball gown. My mother said I might as well try it on since it caught my attention. I can honestly say when I put the dress on, I knew how Cinderella felt when her fairy godmother dressed her for the ball. The sample size fit perfectly. I walked out into the hall to look in a larger mirror, and another bride’s father looked at me and said “Honey, that’s your dress. You look like a Disney princess.” Needless to say, I didn’t try anything else on and walked out of the store, my perfect ball gown in hand.
