“I made two dress requests to Kelly when I booked my dress appointment. I wanted to be able to dance the night away and still feel like the most gorgeous girl walking down the aisle. A majority of the wedding blogs suggest that you go into your wedding dress appointment with an open mind. “Try everything at least once”, they say. Before going into my appointment with Kelly at Love & Lace, I googled dresses and designers for hours. I went in to my appointment ready to try on everything. I still remember it like it was yesterday, and how I wish I could relive the experience over and over again. The Lydia gown was the second dress Kelly had me try on. It was absolutely stunning! The tulle, the v-neck, the lace details and the buttons down the back accentuated my curves in all the right places and gave me plenty of room to get down and boogie! It made me feel stunning, but I didn’t want to commit just yet. I tried on other dresses and designers but I found myself comparing it to the Lydia gown every time. We ended the appointment with the dress I knew was the one from the very beginning, my Eddy K Lydia gown. What the wedding blogs should really say is that when you know you’ve found your dress, you’ll know. It was so fitting that my gown was a part of the Dreams collection because it truly was a dream dress!”
