“I’m from the Netherlands and my husband is from New Zealand. We both really like the mountains and therefore chose to have our wedding in Austria in Filzmoos. The church was in town and the wedding venue on top of the mountain. To provide our guests with the full Austrian experience we provided them with a horse and carriage ride from the Church to the Reception Venue. We organized baskets with wine, beer, jagermeister, pretzels, candy from my parents candy store (Jamin), coffee, tea and hand-warmers to stay warm :). At arrival they were greeted by a traditional Austrian band and gluhwein, beer or champagne. It was extra special because over 100 guests flew from New Zealand, Canada, The Netherlands, England, Germany, and the USA to join us for our big day! I’m really really grateful for the hard work you and DeGalerie put into my dress especially because I only had one day to find a dress and then 3 days to get it fitted. Everyone told me and I definitely felt like a princess and I think that the pictures definitely show this!”
